My List!

I've finally decided which franchises will get a tribute song on the "best-of"album.
Here is an early list, which I guess, will be updated very often.
Maybe more songs will show up in time.

Berserk - The Black Swordsman
Dragon Age - Dragon Age (?)
Serial Experiments Lain - She's Watching
The Legacy Of Kain - The Wheel Of Fate
Saw - The Value Of Life
Satoshi Kon - Reaching The Moon

Berserk - The Black Swordsman
I watched the anime years ago and always asked myself how the story continued. I am reading the manga right now and it's really good. Berserk really works in black and white. It's awesome. =D
+I Love Puck!
I am really looking forward to this.

Dragon Age - Dragon Age (?)
I am a big Bioware fanboy, so I wasn't sure what (Bioware-)franchise I should take for the tribute. But the main theme of dragon is so catchy and awesome, I had to cover that.

Serial Experiments Lain - She's Watching
My Wallpaper: Serial Experiments Lain
I love Lain, the character is great and her story too. The Anime is kinda confusing and crazy, but the outcome, especially the last episodes are a favorite of mine. I am a big alien"fan" too, so I really like the haarp - majestic 12 - Alien episode. :3

The Legacy Of Kain - The Wheel Of Fate
I don't know where to begin... I've played all games of the series, except the first blood omen and I love the story. The games never where my taste at all, (too much thinking! Dx) but the story and characters always motivated me to go on. I wonder why I didn't come up with the idea of a legacy of kain tribute earlier. >.>

Saw - The Value Of Life
I loooooove Jigsaw. He is one of my favorite villains of all time and I really like the movies because of him. It's kinda dumb that the films got very bloody and stupid with time. But yeah... Still love him. I was really dissappointed about the last film, cause I've thought of something bigger, which didn't happen.
*sigh*
However, Tobin Bell (The guy who played Jigsaw) deserves this tribute. !He! and not the splatterfest is what makes the saw franchise so awesome.
Also the soundtrack of saw is amazing, so I really wanted to do that. x3

Satoshi Kon - Reaching The Moon
What should I say, the death of Satoshi Kon hit me really hard, back then.
I am a big fan and have bought everything this guy was part of. Even Memories, this short film package is in my collection because of him. x3

I really need to do a tribute to him, I just don't think that it will be good enough.
The music of Susumu Hirasawa made his films very special and I don't think that I can do a song as exotic as Susumus music. But I don't want to do a tribute to Hirasawa (even though he is awesome) either, so the song will sound very different compared to the film music. I dunno... This song makes my head ache.
Hope it will turn out well.

The best-of thingy!

I've been working on a Dragon Age Tribute for a few days and now it's finished. I hope you like it. =)

Since I am working very much on tribute songs lately I've decided to add a tribute section to the "best of"-"Epilouge album aswell. It will be again a two part album, one part updated Tears Of A Child-Songs and the second part only tributes. "The Black Swordsman" and the Dragon Age song are a foreshadowing of whats to come. I've also planned a tribute to Satoshi Kon, one of my favorite anime directors. (RIP)
Maybe I am going to do a Zack Snyder Tribute as well... I don't know yet.
However! I am looking forward to do this, especially the Satoshi Kon tribute, which didn't make it onto the last album. :<

However!
Have a nice day/night, wherever you are.

And Now?

The story of the "Tears" may be over, but I am not going to abandon this blog!

I'll upload songs from time to time and I will do a "Best Of"-thing for the Tears on which I'll try to update old songs with the things I've learned on this 3 albums.
It will be there epilouge.

However, since I've started to read "Berserk" a few weeks ago, I tried to do a tribute song to this classic.
Hope you like it!
