A Side Project!

Heyja Guys! Here's Metatron again and this is my list of things I wanna tell you about:

1. Today (1.6.) is "Children's Day"
A Martyr

2. I am working on a second music-project!... (Because I've forgotten my Tears stuff at home xD)
The new project is called "Born From A Wish" and it's 100 percent about my favorite Horrorgame(franchise):
I've done a Silent Hill Tribute Song before (with the Tears) and I think this is mainly the kind of music my new project will be about, but it's also a chance for me to use all the sick things I've gathered in years.
So keep your eyes peeled...
This will be twisted stuff!

3. Tears News:
Anna and her offsprings are still working on a boat to leave the Bloodshore.
Heather and Anna seem to get along fine now.
Gally and Ham are searching the Scrapland for stuff they could need on their coming journey.
Heathers influence on Ian is doing incredible things, he talks much more and moves around in a speed which nobody of the original Tears had ever thought possible.

4. I've drawn an Annarchy-Chibi!

5. Have a nice day!

A New Tear!

Heyja Guys!

Metatron here, with very good news:
The 2. album is nearly finished.
The Title will be "At The End Of Your World" and it will tell the story of our cartoony characters after they've left the bloodshore to search a new place they finally can call "home".
So stay tuned!

But that's not all!
After a week of war, doom and terror, Anna finally caught the food thief! It turned out, that it was a girl called Heather. More precisely the Heather, they had written a song of. The mighty amazon-catgirl, Ian told them about, had found her way to the bloodshore. Anna and Heather had dissensions, but after a few days, and the help of Gally, they managed it to get along.
I think Anna got a bit jealous, after Ian started to act weird- and very lively near Heather.
Despite their problems at the beginning I am now happy to announce that Heather, not only made peace with the Tears, but also joined them, after Anna invited her!
Her temper and skill on the drums will be very helpful for the second album.

The only bad thing about her arrival is, that she has no memory of how she got here. She's able to remember her past (and Ian) but she has trouble remembering something specific about the last weeks.

To describe her a bit: She is usually shy, but also very cheeky and aggressive at times. Her Eyes are big, her skin white, the ears sharp and the tail fluffy. She has no hands but paws, with sharp claws and her mouth is stitched together... Anna tried to cut the strings, but everytime she does, a few minutes later, they are back again...

And since there is no space and no reason for this song to be on the second album:
Take it, maybe you even like it. =)

What's Happening!

Sooo... What's happening?!

The Tears are preparing for leaving the Bloodshore and the Scrapland. Anna thinks, that earth can't be everywhere like this, so she wants them to travel to a place that's more suitable for her new family. They haven't decided yet, how they leave, but building a boat seems to be a good option. Anna also told me about, strange things going on the bloodshore...
It seems that someone is sneaking around there.
Who's the mysterious visitor?
Anna doesn't know who it is, but the person seems to be very shy and has tried to steal her food.
Stealing food means hunger and hunger means metabolism and metabolism means living entity and living entity...
...Anna will not leave before she has talked to that person!
A robot, an undead and a demon possessed - not really living - girl are nice friends too, but Anna hasn't talked or even seen a human for (at least) months.

Back in the present, I'm still working on the comic storyboard, the mastering of their second album, character-videos (Gally and Anna are already online @ our youtube channel) and many, many pics. Everytime they tell me something about their appearance, at least one thing has changed... Really frustrating but I think they have fun irritating me.
So don't be too certain about their appearance.

Anna asked me to post a song that hasn't found its way on the first album due to upload problems.
I'll let Anna speak about the song and the concept behind it.
Metatron over.

Annarchy: Heeey Guys! Anna here. Hope you like our first album! I know, the songs are no "moonlight sonata", but hey, it was our first try and I think it's pretty nice for that.

The "new" song is actually no new one. It's very, very old, but its kinda important for me. You have to know that I lived in a bookshop for a few months aaand I've read very, very much in this time.
There was this manga-bookshelf and I remembered how I accused a classmate of mine (in a very distant past) to be childish because of reading such stuff and I felt terrible realizing that I've done this only because of the urge to be one of the cool guys, so I wanted to give that whole (not only asian) comic book thing, a chance. And yeah, there is really great work out there! Some of this comics have moved me in a way I can't really describe. I also would say that one particular comic, changed my life in a very important way.

The manga is called "Battle Angel Alita" and the guy drawing this incredible piece of awesome is called Yukito Kishiro.
This manga helped me realize how important fantasy and creativity really is.
The world Alita is living in combines many philosophical aspects (mainly of Nietzsche and Schopenhauer) and tells a really heartwretching story about love, loss and becoming an adult. I love it! Its my favorite Comicbookseries of all time, even though there are many, many others that's worth reading, this one has everything.

Even though it won't help. Angela? I'm sorry for what my past self said about your comic book, I was the childish one back then...

*sigh*

In short:
Our Song "Hunter/Warrior" is a tribute to "Battle Angel Alita".

Our Comic!

Since I've planned to create a comic (cause its more or the less the best medium to get the story of my Tears done) it is time for the first try!

It's not only the first try on the Tears Comic, it's the first try of a "comic longer than one Site" that I've ever done!
So everything's more conceptual than finished and I know that I am not really good at drawing, but it is fun and I really want this to be done, since music was also a blank page in my life before I tried it.
So I've asked myself:
"Why not?"
My brain answered:
"Cause it's more work than you can ever imagine!"
But at the time Brain said that, I was more interested in that bee, flying against my window, than listening to this boring piece of pudding.

So, here are the results of my first try:

I think it's not that bad for the first try. I did this in one hour, with rebooting, drawing, scanning, extremely long time to process the pics, without my usb-drawing-tablet and and and... So I think if I really, really invest time and energy in this project it will work!
Wish me luck! =)

Our First (and downloadable) Album!

I think this post will be long, so please be careful and don't hurt yourself!

Since I've finished the first Tears Album in 2010 and I'm working on the second since then, I've decided to upload it in the blog. Please remember that this album is the first step I've done in the whole music thing;
"Dead World" for example was one of my first songs ever!
I really hope you'll like it!
There would be more Songs on it, but since it's a pain to upload anything that is bigger than 100 mb, I've decided to stick with this songs. The other material will also be downloadable in the near future, but I think I will write extra blog entries for them, because most of them are bonus songs, or covers, or tribute songs for things I really care about.
So that's it, have fun with the first "Tears Of A Child"-Album and please don't die on cerebral hemorrhage. Murder should not be a part of my "Lebenslauf"
(Is maintenance history the right word?)
The album has been with me a whole year I think and it was a real adventure, the whole project IS still an adventure and a good way to channel feelings and be creative...
So thanks Annarchy, for messing my head up!
Now that I've talked more than enough, It's time to

-Give you the album-

-Let the kids talk about their first album, the project and- -everything else-

Metatron: Tell us about your project.

Annarchy: As I came to the Bloodshore Gally and Ian shared more similarities with plant's than humans... So I've tried to wake them from their eternal sleep of apathicness and the only way to get somone really lively is as far as I know: dancing, singing and freaaaaaaaaking out!
So I've collected music instruments from the Scrapland and we started our Project "TEARS OF A CHILD"!
The Name goes by the way back to Fyodor M Dostoevsky's book "The Brothers Karamazov"...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...and so I renounce the higher harmony altogether. It’s not worth the tears of that one tortured child who beat itself on the breast with its little fist and prayed in its stinking outhouse, with its unexpiated tears to ‘dear, kind God’! It’s not worth it, because those tears are unatoned for.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But this book, or better the questions it raised in my mind, are not the only reason for this bandname, maybe I'll talk about it an other time.
But back to topic, the first sessions we had were really troubling, I tried my best, but everything started very slow.... And with very slow I mean "slugspeed"...
But we had luck, we found Ham the other day and then things got lot easier, cause our robotic giant teddy has music in his blood! He throws beats and synthesizerlike sounds like nothing else.
Yeah, however, things got started and we soon had our first song... After that barrier it got really satisfying, we all had fun and our zombies, woke up a little.
Gally: Ouuuh I don't know what I should say...
Ian: ...
Ham: Gally here again. Ham says: He is happy to be one of the tears and that he had also fun doing this album.

Metatron: The Album?
Annarchy: Is only the beginning.
Gally: Yappa! It was real fun to do it, so we hope you like it!!!

Ian: ...
Ham: He says: It's super awesome *giggles*

Metatron: What's your favorite song on the album?

Annarchy: Definitley "Drowning Memories", everytime I hear that Song I recall that day Gally came to me to tell me that Ian wrote a song for the project. This was the biggest success of our crew on this album.

Gally: I like them all, but I really love the special part in "Silent Screams", that was real fun to do.
Ian: ...
Ham: He says: Pulse Of The Lifeless!

-Have a track by track Interview with Annarchy

Dead World
This Song's about the feelings I had, when I was traveling to the Bloodshore. Everything got better, after I met my 2 little cuties.
Annarchy
It's not about me as many would surely think. It's about the world I came from, the problems there, the hate, the business and everything my former self left behind. At the same time it should be a help to wake up. Maybe you have still the chance to change the fate of your world. Destroy this web of lies everyone is tangled in!
Taken
It's about the ufo- and alien-phenomenon in your world and how people still don't wanna accept, that these things happen. How frightened people get marked as weirdos, only because they don't want to shut their eyes before things that are not fitting in the nice little system of lies humanity has built up.

Bloodred Shore
A song about the mood on the Bloodshore. The red water, the dark metal scrap lying around everywhere. The shattered sky above us and the lonely and emptiness around us. But we are not unhappy, not anymore, what's happening to us is a chance, a chance to repair ourself while the world repairs itself.
Pulse Of The Lifeless
There was a time where I had to take a decision. My entire life was gone, I was thrown in this fight for survival and I had to make the decision wether to live or to die... I think you know how I decided.
Silent Screams
One day, I was travelling the scrapland, I found this ruin, of a former television-channel studio. There was this archive of files they've presented the public in the past. I spend a few days, watching those things and what I saw was shocking. The real shock wasn't the reports, it was the memory of myself watching this news, years ago, and feeling absolutely nothing. I remembered myself thinking that, those people weren't important to me, that their fate is totally uninteresting because I don't know them.
Drowning Memories
I don't really know what this song's about, since it isn't written by me.
But I think it has to do with the circumstances that made Ian to that lifeless shell he is today, or better yesterday, since I am working on bringin him back to life.
Because
I found this video of a young girl talking on a congress for a world environment organisation right in front of really mighty people. In the moment I watched this video, I felt really sorry for not being as active in the past as this child was. We took voice samples of this video to make a song that gives me the chance to say the things I feel in such a natural, maybe naive but really pure way.
Leaving Birds
The song is about the birdfrogmutants Gally and Ian raised. They both had to learn that nothing is forever and that, when the time has come, they have to be strong enough to say goodbye. Gally had no problem with letting them go, or fly away... But Ian really had a problem with letting go.
The Last Echoes
The Last Echoes (of a dead world) is one of our oldest songs, but we have worked since the beginning on it. It's about the echoes you can hear on the scrapland everyday. You hear fighting and crying, sounds that can only be described as the end of your world, and at the same time, the beginning of ours.
The Legend Of Heather (Bonus)
This bonus song is about a friend of Ian. Gally told me about her. It seems that she was a mighty amazon princess, half human, half cat, a real warrior but also a real beauty. We wrote this song to hail the mighty amazon princess "Heather" once more.
