The Tears are preparing for leaving the Bloodshore and the Scrapland. Anna thinks, that earth can't be everywhere like this, so she wants them to travel to a place that's more suitable for her new family. They haven't decided yet, how they leave, but building a boat seems to be a good option. Anna also told me about, strange things going on the bloodshore...
It seems that someone is sneaking around there.
Who's the mysterious visitor? |
Stealing food means hunger and hunger means metabolism and metabolism means living entity and living entity...
...Anna will not leave before she has talked to that person!
A robot, an undead and a demon possessed - not really living - girl are nice friends too, but Anna hasn't talked or even seen a human for (at least) months.
Back in the present, I'm still working on the comic storyboard, the mastering of their second album, character-videos (Gally and Anna are already online @ our youtube channel) and many, many pics. Everytime they tell me something about their appearance, at least one thing has changed... Really frustrating but I think they have fun irritating me.
So don't be too certain about their appearance.
Anna asked me to post a song that hasn't found its way on the first album due to upload problems.
I'll let Anna speak about the song and the concept behind it.
Metatron over.
The "new" song is actually no new one. It's very, very old, but its kinda important for me. You have to know that I lived in a bookshop for a few months aaand I've read very, very much in this time.
There was this manga-bookshelf and I remembered how I accused a classmate of mine (in a very distant past) to be childish because of reading such stuff and I felt terrible realizing that I've done this only because of the urge to be one of the cool guys, so I wanted to give that whole (not only asian) comic book thing, a chance. And yeah, there is really great work out there! Some of this comics have moved me in a way I can't really describe. I also would say that one particular comic, changed my life in a very important way.
The manga is called "Battle Angel Alita" and the guy drawing this incredible piece of awesome is called Yukito Kishiro.
This manga helped me realize how important fantasy and creativity really is.
The world Alita is living in combines many philosophical aspects (mainly of Nietzsche and Schopenhauer) and tells a really heartwretching story about love, loss and becoming an adult. I love it! Its my favorite Comicbookseries of all time, even though there are many, many others that's worth reading, this one has everything.
Even though it won't help. Angela? I'm sorry for what my past self said about your comic book, I was the childish one back then...
*sigh*
In short:
Our Song "Hunter/Warrior" is a tribute to "Battle Angel Alita".
Anna over.
