I think this post will be long, so please be careful and don't hurt yourself!
Since I've finished the first Tears Album in 2010 and I'm working on the second since then, I've decided to upload it in the blog. Please remember that this album is the first step I've done in the whole music thing;
"Dead World" for example was one of my first songs ever!
I really hope you'll like it!
There would be more Songs on it, but since it's a pain to upload anything that is bigger than 100 mb, I've decided to stick with this songs. The other material will also be downloadable in the near future, but I think I will write extra blog entries for them, because most of them are bonus songs, or covers, or tribute songs for things I really care about.
So that's it, have fun with the first "Tears Of A Child"-Album and please don't die on cerebral hemorrhage. Murder should not be a part of my "Lebenslauf"
(Is maintenance history the right word?)
The album has been with me a whole year I think and it was a real adventure, the whole project IS still an adventure and a good way to channel feelings and be creative...
So thanks Annarchy, for messing my head up!
Now that I've talked more than enough, It's time to
-Give you the album-
-Let the kids talk about their first album, the project and- -everything else-
Metatron: Tell us about your project.
Annarchy: As I came to the Bloodshore Gally and Ian shared more similarities with plant's than humans... So I've tried to wake them from their eternal sleep of apathicness and the only way to get somone really lively is as far as I know: dancing, singing and freaaaaaaaaking out!
So I've collected music instruments from the Scrapland and we started our Project "TEARS OF A CHILD"!
The Name goes by the way back to Fyodor M Dostoevsky's book "The Brothers Karamazov"...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...and so I renounce the higher harmony altogether. It’s not worth the tears of that one tortured child who beat itself on the breast with its little fist and prayed in its stinking outhouse, with its unexpiated tears to ‘dear, kind God’! It’s not worth it, because those tears are unatoned for.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But this book, or better the questions it raised in my mind, are not the only reason for this bandname, maybe I'll talk about it an other time.
But back to topic, the first sessions we had were really troubling, I tried my best, but everything started very slow.... And with very slow I mean "slugspeed"...
But we had luck, we found Ham the other day and then things got lot easier, cause our robotic giant teddy has music in his blood! He throws beats and synthesizerlike sounds like nothing else.
Yeah, however, things got started and we soon had our first song... After that barrier it got really satisfying, we all had fun and our zombies, woke up a little.
Gally: Ouuuh I don't know what I should say...
Ian: ...
Ham: Gally here again. Ham says: He is happy to be one of the tears and that he had also fun doing this album.
Metatron: The Album?
Annarchy: Is only the beginning.
Gally: Yappa! It was real fun to do it, so we hope you like it!!!
Ian: ...
Ham: He says: It's super awesome *giggles*
Metatron: What's your favorite song on the album?
Annarchy: Definitley "Drowning Memories", everytime I hear that Song I recall that day Gally came to me to tell me that Ian wrote a song for the project. This was the biggest success of our crew on this album.
Gally: I like them all, but I really love the special part in "Silent Screams", that was real fun to do.
Ian: ...
Ham: He says: Pulse Of The Lifeless!
-Have a track by track Interview with Annarchy-
Dead World
This Song's about the feelings I had, when I was traveling to the Bloodshore. Everything got better, after I met my 2 little cuties.
Annarchy
It's not about me as many would surely think. It's about the world I came from, the problems there, the hate, the business and everything my former self left behind. At the same time it should be a help to wake up. Maybe you have still the chance to change the fate of your world. Destroy this web of lies everyone is tangled in!
Taken
It's about the ufo- and alien-phenomenon in your world and how people still don't wanna accept, that these things happen. How frightened people get marked as weirdos, only because they don't want to shut their eyes before things that are not fitting in the nice little system of lies humanity has built up.
Bloodred Shore
A song about the mood on the Bloodshore. The red water, the dark metal scrap lying around everywhere. The shattered sky above us and the lonely and emptiness around us. But we are not unhappy, not anymore, what's happening to us is a chance, a chance to repair ourself while the world repairs itself.
Pulse Of The Lifeless
There was a time where I had to take a decision. My entire life was gone, I was thrown in this fight for survival and I had to make the decision wether to live or to die... I think you know how I decided.
Silent Screams
One day, I was travelling the scrapland, I found this ruin, of a former television-channel studio. There was this archive of files they've presented the public in the past. I spend a few days, watching those things and what I saw was shocking. The real shock wasn't the reports, it was the memory of myself watching this news, years ago, and feeling absolutely nothing. I remembered myself thinking that, those people weren't important to me, that their fate is totally uninteresting because I don't know them.
Drowning Memories
I don't really know what this song's about, since it isn't written by me.
But I think it has to do with the circumstances that made Ian to that lifeless shell he is today, or better yesterday, since I am working on bringin him back to life.
Because I found this video of a young girl talking on a congress for a world environment organisation right in front of really mighty people. In the moment I watched this video, I felt really sorry for not being as active in the past as this child was. We took voice samples of this video to make a song that gives me the chance to say the things I feel in such a natural, maybe naive but really pure way.
Leaving Birds
The song is about the birdfrogmutants Gally and Ian raised. They both had to learn that nothing is forever and that, when the time has come, they have to be strong enough to say goodbye. Gally had no problem with letting them go, or fly away... But Ian really had a problem with letting go.
The Last Echoes
The Last Echoes (of a dead world) is one of our oldest songs, but we have worked since the beginning on it. It's about the echoes you can hear on the scrapland everyday. You hear fighting and crying, sounds that can only be described as the end of your world, and at the same time, the beginning of ours.
The Legend Of Heather (Bonus)
This bonus song is about a friend of Ian. Gally told me about her. It seems that she was a mighty amazon princess, half human, half cat, a real warrior but also a real beauty. We wrote this song to hail the mighty amazon princess "Heather" once more.
